• How long will it take to complete my custom house portrait?
Between 2-12 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the image, as well as how long the waiting list is.
• What type of photos do I need to provide for the best results?
Photos must be at least 2GB, ideally sent via wee transfer to artist@katieisaac.co.uk
• Can I use photos from my phone or do they need to be professional quality?
You can use your phone, but original photos only. No Screen shots or photos sent via whats app (as whats app compresses the image quality.
• What sizes are available for the drawings?
A5, A4, A3 and A2. If you would like a bespoke sizing with in those ranges simply chose the size closest to the one you want when ordering.
• Can you draw commercial buildings or is it just residential homes?
I can draw any building from any angel. Just be aware the more decorative the building the longer it will take me to complete the image.
• Can I request changes or revisions once the drawing is started?
I will send you a photo of the drawing when I have done a pencil outline, this is the stage where you can request changes. Once I begin pen drawing no changes or requests can be made.
• What happens if I’m not satisfied with the final artwork?
I keep you involved throughout the process to insure your satisfaction as such I have a 100% satisfaction rate. To ensure your satisfaction please make sure you are happy with the compassion of your photo before submitting it, if your unsure what makes a good compassion get in touch and I can give you advice.
• Can you add or remove certain elements from the original photo?
Absolutely, this is something I will help advice you on, removing elements that detract from the image.
• Do you offer framing services or recommendations?
No due to the high cost of posting fames I don’t offer framing as standard. However, if you contact me I am happy to give you a personal quote for framing cost and additional shipping.
• Can you work from multiple photos to show different angles of the property?
I will work from one primary photo, but additional photos of key elements or details (such as the door) is very much appreciated and helps me create a more accurate likeless.
• Can you rush my order for a specific deadline?
Potentially, if you send me an email I can let you know if the time frame your asking is realistic in relation to my current work load.
• Do you offer different paper sizes or only standard dimensions?
I can offer custom dimensions, but for ease of ordering simply order the size closest to the one you would like.
• Can you draw interior spaces or only exterior building views?
I can draw interiors as well as exteriors, and I am happy to add backs of figures and animals. But I do not offer front facing figure portraits.
