High quality detailed pen drawing of the iconic York Minster, dating back to the 7th Century. Giclée prints available
I always start the process off in pencil to get the basic outlines, then add pen for the main detail, later rubbing off the pencil lines.
I use professional artist fine-liner pens with high quality 220gsm heavyweight cartridge paper, good for textures with the pen and long lasting art work, however I do recommend not having art displayed in direct sunlight to avoid any colour fading over time.
Giclée prints are high quality fine art reproduction. Giclée prints use fibrous cotton paper linked with 8 colour pigment ink printers produce an extremely wide tonal range and colour gamut compared to standard 4 colour CMYK printers. This matt black ink gives maximum depth and richness to dark areas of the prints. Prints are made with 310g, bright white, velvet fine art paper made from 100% cotton fibre and is acid and lignin free. Elegance is strong and dimensionally stable. It has a high white point, remarkable ink load capacity, and best-in-class image quality.
