Description
Original oil painting Using professional artist oil paints on a canvas board; H30cm W40cm D0.3cm
Inspiration I often look up down when walking, this painting was inspired by a walk in the lake district looking up in a forest. There is a pressure there that reminds me of being under a blanket, noises are dulled, light is dim and the sounds of the branches swaying and birds signing is like that of a gentle orchestra.
I originally started painting this when I was at uni, but then it went away in a cupboard unfinished for years, until I felt a pull towards it again and the whole painting came together after 10yrs lying unfinished. It reminds me of how tress grow, slowly in there time now ours.
