Inspiration Intricacy can be hidden beneath the surface of something simple and everyday, yet be easily overlooked. While hiking through Wales, I was captivated by this mushroom. As I lay on the ground staring at the incredible intricacy of its gills, I was amazed by how something so complex remains hidden from view, yet is so vital to the structure and function of the mushroom. Inspired by this experience, I use hyperrealism to draw attention to the complexities hidden within the everyday.
