I started drawing York Minster in 2023, and it has been a real labour of love. When I showed it at York Open Studios, only half finished, the wonderful encouragement I received gave me the confidence to keep going. By stripping away the colour and focusing on the forms, patterns and light, I wanted to capture the intricacy of the architecture and all the details that make this building so incredible.
